Route 1
If there is no existing EV charging system or network in your car park, the company responsible for managing the complex can apply to SEAI for grant support. SEAI will provide up to 80% funding for infrastructure costs and will also offer €600 per charge point installed. The management company can make independent arrangements with you to pay for any difference to acquire ownership of the charger. Watch our short video animation that explains the process.
Route 2
If an EV charging network is already present in your complex, contact your Management Company to request permission to join the local network. They will instruct you about what equipment and supplier must be used and how to set up an account to pay for the use of the system. When you have completed this step, visit the Home Charger online grant system and make an application for a Home Charger grant.
